About Mary

I have been playing the piano since I was six years old, competed and took first place in 4 music competitions in high school. I started playing the Violin at sixteen and studied it alongside piano in college, and I received my degree in Music Education from Del Mar College in 2021. I have been teaching for three years, and love introducing students to the magic that is music.

I teach students one-on-one to ensure I can give each student personalized teaching that will help them grow the best. I want to help my students not only build their confidence in learning to play their instrument, but also teach them how to read music and understand music theory so that they can be confident in their abilities, and one day be able to select and learn music independently.
